OMG! No lie, I had a resident dig up my rose bushes. Maintenance busted her walking home with them. I pull up all gangster in my golf cart with maintenance to ask her about it... mind you, she still had them in her arms... she denied the whole thing.
I've had plants stolen right out of the planter at the office door. I had these really cool squigly plants that can only be planted in winter. They had finally really taken hold in the planter and we were leaving them for the spring.... yup... walked up and they were gone. Someone snatched them right out of the middle of the planter.
We had a tenant steal flowers from someone’s porch and get caught and then get arrested. The local news branded her “the flower thief” and she started calling herself that when she would call in.
I've had this happen as well, overnight the communitys entrance flowers up and vanished. Plants had just been planted. I've also had plants and personal property stolen from off my porch. Pathetic!
I have had this reported many times in my 30 years in the industry, including resident patios being targeted. A thief is just that, I hope gets caught!
That is too bad and very sad that someone would do that! Lucky day, Since you are my client i will be going by Home Depot today, picking up flowers and bringing them to your property. Courtesy of RentPath!
