This is a resident who recently either moved in (who had a bad experience with the person who handled her move in due to me not being available) or the resident that recently caused an overflow and is being billed back for the damage. TYIA!
I would let it go. Karma has a way if taking care of these people. The only times we address this is when it is verbally said directly to a person, ie. verbal assault. And we’ve ended leases because a resident verbally assaulted a PM. (In PA we can end a month to month lease without cause)
Have a conversation with resident. Own the error. Apologize. Most people just want to be recognized and have their issue acknowledged. Once their frustration calms down, ask them to change their wi-fi. They are asking to be heard ( albeit juvenile) and this is their way. Good Luck!
No last name, no proof it's your associate, ignore. However maybe send a handwritten note to him letting him know you are happy to have him as a new resident and that you are available for question. Do not mention the wifi thing at all. Just a though.
I once have someone who has their name as hide yo kids hide yo WiFi....from the viral video hide yo kids and hide yo wife. I laughed at the creativity lol. Unfortunately you cannot control a personal WiFi name. Just like you can’t control online reviews.
