Today I was getting my small balance letters ready to go put on doors in 100 degree weather and I came up with this idea!!!

I’m not sure if anyone has posted about this grand idea but this is for those of you with Amazon lockers... Today I was getting my small balance letters ready to go put on doors in 100 degree weather and I came up with the idea of putting the balance letters in the lockers!!! We ALL know how much residents love their packages so I tried it out and watched everyone go to the lockers and come to me saying how excited they were for their package ???????? I bet I’ll have zero delinquency tomorrow

Let us know. I'm getting Amazon lockers. I've heard that USPS does not put packages they deliver in lockers. Is my delivery person lying and lazy?

We have amazon lockers and all delivery to them

They pick up their packages at our office and every month anyone who has a package who's late I put the letter on the package. Yes I know you've ordered 10 packages this month and haven't paid your rent LOL

I use my Luxer to give keys letter etc. Best thing ever.

I used to write balances directly on the packages, or stick a balance due sticky note on them. Seems harsh, but our delinquencies never looked better! To be fair, I also included credits if there were any. ???? Edited to add this was 100% a team effort.

I thought of this a few months ago when we were toying around with the idea of getting the lockers. Sadly, I just have to walk them all out myself.

Love the creativity! Why do they have small balances? Are you required to physically deliver a letter?? Can’t be an electronic notice?

Jeff McDonnold small balances for water, pest control etc... I have tried emailing in the past but a hard copy seems to be more effective!

Jamie Bentley have you considered convergent billing? Puts all charges on one invoice, with rent being last so if they’re short they’re short on rent, which puts resident at risk of fees, fines and possibly eviction.....which is also an attention grabber

We don’t have package lockers....but....now I’m thinking of sending package notices to the resident and when they come in looking for a packages it forces a convo

We used to have residents pick up packages in the office, so I would always log their 5 day letters in as a pick-up item so they would have to come see us. Don't want to answer your door? Come get a "package" then! Worked like a charm!
