We post our storage flyer and the a few days later post patio notices. We typically get a few rentals that way.

Send out flyer saying let us help you de-clutter your balcony and apartment we finally have storage units for rent - they are going fast - first five will receive a discount

Lauren Thanks! I’d go all out and decorate one. Put a mini fridge and a mimosa station in it. Create a character named Cheryl for all the marketing. Can’t hurt lol ????

Do a “wow” storage unit like you’d do a wow fridge. Showcase its endless possibilities (extra closet, organized area for crafts, etc.) and then promote it as such.

Christmas is coming up. Do they need to store presents, trees, decorations? Are they having people come over and need to clean out a closet? You could make a funny video about getting ready for visitors to come over and how you wish you’d put this stuff in storage.

Many people struggle to know the locations and size available. Have a storage “open house” of sorts and open a few doors and turn the lights on. You can easily put a flyer inside with dimensions and an incentive for renting.

Roll them into the rent and pitch them to prospects/ future residents as, and it comes with a storage unit. You have them all leased in about a year.
