That vendor would be called back for replacement and I would not use them again if they failed to make it right.

Agreed. That vendor is responsible for making it right by either cleaning or replacing the carpet. That vendor also needs to explain in what world this behavior is ok. If he doesn't know, I'm sure you can enlighten him.

Also, I don’t want just the carpet replaced, I want the baseboard replaced as well. If you think you’re going to paint over that, you’re sadly mistaken. This probably wouldn’t have happened if your workspace was a little bit clean, but you can clearly see it wasn’t because of all the debris around the spilled cement. Kthxbaaaaai
