We use Active Building resident portals and have it set to review and approve all postings by the residents. We have seen an influx of residents wanting to post about their vehicle getting broken into, or small items stolen off their porch. It is only natural to want to "warn" your neighbors of what is going on, but we want to put the focus on their responsibility to lock their vehicles and hide their valuables, etc. We don't want anyone to get the false impression that there is a lot of theft going on, or that we aren't doing anything about it.
So we want to create our own post, but I am struggling with verbiage. I'd like to hear from you all about what you have done to combat this.
