Do you want to know if there are illegal Airbnb’s at your property? Super easy process to find out! When you are at your property open the Airbnb app, begin a search for nearby listings for 1 adult, and it ask you for travel dates hit skip. This list will generate all active listings near you, the reason you want to not enter in any dates is because if the illegal listing has a booking for the date range you entered then it won’t show up. You will be able to easily spot the illegal listings, I find that many times these fools just use the pictures from the website. Happy hunting!

City requires a permit that owner must sign off. So the answer is no. Lease violation.

I'm writing a story about apt communities that have used short-term rentals (and maybe no longer do) OR those who have never used them. Please contact me at [email protected] if you care to share your experiences (positive or negative).

We use a product called Property Guard that searches the internet for your addresses in other listings to try to catchthe Air BnB'ers. It has found 3 for us.

I also look on the local Market place on Facebook and find LOTS of people trying to sublease our units there too.
