Yes and yes. Great customer service. They do a good job of monitoring expenses as well. Got a credit from them that they got from the city for over charging. We didn’t even catch it on the site level. Also handle conversion well.
I do. It depends on who your rep is, I've had really good ones and it runs smoothly & I e had bad ones and they missed an increase from the city and we lost a decent amout of money.
The one problem we've seen is when they post their amounts due. Some residents paid the incorrect amount for rent because the water hadn't posted to the ledger. Going back to residents and asking for more money is never fun, imagine doing it now.
I like every aspect of conservice other than their customer support. If you’re at a property that doesn’t complain about their bills I would go with them. When I worked low income housing and people complained 24/7 they were not the best at explaining bills to residents and constantly referred them back to the office. It consumed way too much of our time. But if you don’t foresee that problem, I would recommend!
Yes and I like them a lot. But we also do it our selves.
I do like them for the synergy portion that does all your benchmarking reports annually. This is a mandate many times and Lenders also want it. So all depends on your needs
Jamie Bentley not here. Sometimes we have issues where the move out doesn’t generate but I can generate it manually. My rep is also very responsive. I like them better than NWP. The Conservice dashboard is easy to use imo.
Jamie Bentley we use them for Water, Sewer, Gas, Trash, Common Area Electric - basically for everything except individual unit power and Internet. I also have Synergy setup to pay all of the utility bills to the City, as well as for my emergency on-call phone.
Sometimes the decision depends on which management platform you use. There are efficiencies gained through setup and management if you’re on Yardi or Entrata then go with their utility billing. Otherwise Conservice is great. If you can choose one that will process and manage your bills for you, then you’re going to love life again. All of these providers were able to detect leaks and billing issues after we took over properties that only had UB prior. ????
Yes, I am happy with using Conservice. My only concern is that they frequently have unexpected costly issues with the water meters. I do not necessarily think that is their fault but the repairs are costly.
We use Multifamily Utilities and I would recommend them. I used Conservcie before and they were great till we signed the contract. Their customer was terrible, and always made our residents made, reporting wasn’t as good, and didn’t offer profit sharing on fees.
Conservice is truly not the greatest. They didn’t send bills out properly for months and continuously change the point person for my properties with no notice.
ConService is great! You receive their monthly billing for approvals 2 weeks before they post to your residents portal or emails. As a Manager- please review your bills and be involved with your ConService Rep so you know what to expect and when. Those bills will roll out to the eviction units if you’re not careful! So get involved in the review and approval process. ConService ????

I was a Conservice client for several years and had a good experience overall and would recommend them. Good reporting, good issue resolution, metering work was solid, people were helpful.
That said, RUBS is terrible. Someone needs to figure out a better way...
