Hello Multifamily Industry friends!
QUESTION: What is the best, coolest, most unique amenity your community offers or that you have seen that you would love to have? (Pool, Fitness Center and Business Centers excluded)
GO!
Client’s properties: it’s a tie between a community with twin side-by-side indoor water resistance swimming pools Florida), and a one with a glass enclosed two-story indoor rock climbing wall (Ohio -

)
Although the clients with lazy rivers and rooftop jumbotrons are pretty cool too!
I do t actually have it yet but seen it at a park and I’m trying to get it on some properties. The videos that come up are always cycling so there’s constant new work out material
Nicki Bolton Romeo it used to be a volleyball court, but nobody was really playing volleyball. It’s 32 4‘ x 4‘ plots, resident sign up for it in the office, there’s no additional charge . And I say they can grow anything that is legal in the state of North Carolina ????a pleasant side effect is that we get a lot of tomatoes and zucchini in the office LOL
I love the idea of “services”! I think that’s where the future is headed ???? Like on-site dog walkers, yoga classes, grocery deliveries, house keepers, etc. I could go on and on!
Payton Bree So cool and you can incorporate at a stabilized Community or a Lease up! You just can’t build another pool but you can add services I really love it!
My old property/sister property I worked at had a movie wall. We updated it every month with new releases and the residents loved it! Also, we had a popcorn machine next to it ready with fresh popcorn every day.
I’m sure others might have the same but I always loved that!
Melanie Hostetter Bailey My property is currently under construction and we are going to have that! I’ve had very small ones before but this one is a little more beefed up so I’m excited to see how it goes over. I think it’s going to be fantastic! I will post pics when it’s done!
It really depends on the market/clientele you're wanting to market to. Pets, smart technology, fitness classes and 'services' such as Payton mentioned are just some of what people love. If you're i to fitness a rock wall would totally be ideal however if you're retired maybe a little putting green on the rooftop is more ideal.
Starra Bright Thanks! I love this industry! So many smart people and this group is amazing. Friday nights thinking about ways to improve our communities! ❤️ What did we do before FB?
Nicki Bolton Romeo there is a cute video on our Facebook page showing the other side done. My property is The Conley. My leasing agent did the artwork.

Nicki Bolton Romeo we have a POS system that the residents download an app and pay for the items purchased. We have snacks to household items and pet food.

Nicki Bolton Romeo Thank you!! my entire community is stunning but this is my favorite part! No drips and stains on the carpet or trash odors in the hallways
