I don't have a picture but when we took over our community we started with a vase ($1) fresh flowers ($3-$5 manager special and made 3+ vases) 2 bottles of water (small ones) 2 bags of trail mix, a few chocolates, and a thank you card with a had written message and signed by all of us. A few months back we found custom wine glasses with our property name in them so we swapped the vase and flowers out for those. It is inexpensive but really packs a wow factor
Britni Michelle Ruiz Agreed, I always do orchids because you can get them for under $15 and they live for a long time and need very little attention. Succulents or Orchids were one of my 5 ideas for 5 under $50!
Katie Rigsby our local grocery store has manager special flowers and we can get them for like $3 and get 3-4 vases out of them. I'm always cautious of orchids or big flowers like that because they can be harmful to pets.
Scott Addison thats super cute. We do a free pizza for their “first meal” but it’s getting harder and hard to find places to partner with since Covid hit. I really like this idea, no need to shop when they first move in.
Our community is right down the street from the beach. We thought we will put together a beach bag surprise for them. Comes with a towel a cup and water. All of it has our information for marketing as well.
We give a reusable shopping bag with our logo (in back). The water, popcorn and card are set with that on the breakfast bar along with a pizza coupon from a local place we partner with. The dish pack is set on the sink. The plunger and TP are in the master bathroom.
We hand sign each card, and our whole team pops in to say hello when they’re getting keys. Our maintenance super actually now does move in inspections with them as well, which is nice.
The popcorn tag says “if anything pops up, don’t hesitate to give us a call.”
Just a quick snap excuse our break room ???? Laundry Basket, Toilet paper, Napkins, Plunger, Dish soap, Body soap, and the tool to wash dishes . some snacks.
I've been doing quarantinis recently at one of my communities. For those that are underage we have a gourmet cookie shop we have been using as the alternate gift.
