Finger print scanner - works well - except there is always at least one person who cannot get the finger print to scan!

Courtney Hargrove we use that for our fitness center and office but YES! Especially the elderly. It's like they've worked off all of their prints. I'm looking for something more budget friendly.

Beth, are you able to manage your Brivo access in-house without any issues? We have a third party vendor doing ours and it feels like there are too many chefs in the kitchen.

Beth Oh, awesome! Do you use Brivo on your common areas and front gate as well? We have Butterfly for our front gate but it seems like it had issues communicating with our app management system. Again, too many chefs!

I use Brivo as well, and it is the easiest most user friendly system I've used. After 3 years, no hiccups for us.

Some of you with fob systems may know this already but if you have a key making kiosk or online, you (a resident) can mail them your fob and they will duplicate it. They can copy the code. Just FYI, I couldn’t figure how this resident’s guests had extra working fobs (and they look different), figured it out...

Being a Veteran of this kind of stuff.
Mircom has a great door intercom with ability to add card access/fobs.
There is Doorking and some other out there and I be glad to be of help.
I am no a sales guy or represent any of these companies.
Considering the need for a good gate company, locksmith, door hardware company and others, this is and has been a burning topic for many MDU's.
We can now add the fact that most places to replace the actual unit locks with locksets that have the ability to disable the renter access (easy lockout/no rekey).
Yardi and OnSite and a few have been not really looking into a good integration for the management software either.
I am open for question and input.

We’ve been moving our properties to Gatewise. Very happy - most likely won’t work with elderly property (works off cell phones)
