This literally is a lobby; elevator access and mailboxes, and the office is off to the side. This space has to be open 24/7/365. Not even locks on the doors.

It's fine, I didn't take it as you being grouchy. If this wasn't a central hub, it would be closed too. Fortunately it can't be closed so I'm taking advantage of that.
