I miss one site! I loved how you could customize the Home Screen to what you want to see! It also moved fast and I wouldn’t get booted or it freeze as often as Yardi!
I work in the corporate off as the collections manager. Each month I track delinquency and collections for 9 properties. I go into central under scheduled events and have created a report to run 3 x month for delinquency and collections at the end of the month. It’s great because I don’t have to go into each one directly, rather I just go into central and it’s already been scheduled so when the date forwards it’s already completed.
Absolutely. Some are a pain to deal with. I run a resident activity for move outs to ensure all FAS have come to the corporate office but it doesn’t like to do just that month so I have to do the entire year and just look at the last month.
We are primarily affordable and love using the compliance reporting during the month for corporate monitoring, definitely simplified things for multiple site managers
Following- I have the same question... I’ve tried that one and we settled on monthly income summary while deducting the vacancy and getting our own percent on an excel sheet just because of how prepaids hit. It’s been a mess trying to find the best report but we’re affordable so the fluctuations of rent and subsidy bring a whole other element.
I do all the collections for the entire portfolio. As soon as the FAS is completed it is out of the hands of the property and now up to me to collect. I created a very detailed spreadsheet for each year that will give me all information I’m looking for. If the resident owes money I mark it as “under a payment plan” in OS and run the collections report and toggle the option at the bottom to say “payment plan only”. My spreadsheet will tell me where we started and the report I run at the end of each month will tell me where we are and what I collected. If there’s other reports that anyone suggests please feel free to let me know. I’ve only been in multi family for 4 years.
It basically shows you what is billing verse what is collected. and gives you a. Collection percentage at the bottom. I’ve found that sometimes certain adjustments can throw off the percentage, I wish they would just show me to total billed vs total cash collected and call it day. Try the report in the coming week and let me know what you think!
Call your rep. That is no longer correct. In fact you’re not scanning through a browser anymore. Instead it’s a small plug-in for your computer. Your rep or supports can help you.
A lot of people are confused by my search method. I use the top left 3 stripe menu and select "residents". Then I use the drop menu on the right and select residents again. It pulls up all residents. If I click on the top labels (unit, name, move in date, lease start, move out, balance, etc), I can organize the list by that subject. I like to do this when I'm checking to see our pending move outs, pending renewals, delinquency, and add delinquency notes. I know there are reports for that, but I just click one button and it's right there. No wait time. Only problem.... When I print the list, it always prints by unit number, no matter what
Hamburger menu —> Admin —> RealPage Exchange —> GL Research —> “Show me!” —> pick your accounting method, and fiscal period or GL account, depending on what you’re researching... taaaaa daaaaaa!
I LOVE Onesite- I’m such a Onesite groupie. I took the super user training in TX years ago and have been hooked ever since. I was stuck with Yardi for a few years and missed it. Best feature is the question mark at the top of every single section on every page. Even if brand new users are stuck, they click the question mark and up pops directions!

Recently learned how to use the periodic waitlist notices feature to help clean up and organize waitlists that are excessively long. Love the annual recert packet feature. Been able to upload our forms to get some of our company processes out of the Stone Age so we can generate all necessary forms as a group. We were printing them all individually from our company server before. At least from a distance I can see if my manager has generated a packet and included everything necessary for HUD. That’s been a life saver for new managers who don’t know hud yet. I love OneSite affordable.
You can add the financial reporting widget to your home page. It shows you the delinquency, prepaid and a few other things. You can click on the delinquency amount (it’s a blue link) and it opens your delinquency list and then you can add comments to it from here instead of going into each account.
