Favorites - I have things I go to a lot saved as favorites. This is great until I am training someone and can not remember how I get to it because I am so use to just clicking on my favorites and going right to it.

Make ready dashboard with automatic work order scheduling. Also the "create PO from WO" feature. One report I'm surprised doesn't get more use is the Committed Costs report (pretty sure that's the name) - it shows you your budget variance but also factors in the cost of any open POs before accounting has generated the journal entries.
This not really an answer more of a wishlist. I wish Yardi had a report for vehicles and a way to add assets. I had both of with Onesite and they are extremely useful.
That may depend on the version and add ons that you have. I believe I've seen both of what you're looking for, if it's what I'm thinking. Yardi can vary greatly from company to company, even when it's the same version, based on what your company has requested.
Yardi also has custom report options that can create almost any report that you want - it's just a matter of whether your internal/external support can/will write the script.
I use Yardi 7s. I've looked through all my available reports however I can't a report about vehicles and I can't find how to add assets. I would contact Yardi however they do not offer free support which I find strange. Thank you for your response.
Yes there are different things that can be purchased. I used to be able to pull that report and with my new company I can’t. So I asked around and that was the answer I got
Under each resident, you can add their assigned parking number as well. If you click resident, it’s at bottom under “other”. You would select edit and add parking under permit area. I believe the report is under resident>vehicle report. When I get home, I’ll double check and post.

The tickler report shows all your move in and move outs for the month. This is a great report for maintenance. I print this for the month for my maintenance supervisor and he schedules out the turns.
I love the tickler too but be careful because cancels will still appear and you have to be cognizant of that. We view this report in our weekly team meetings and helps us prepare for those quick turns.

Random but- clicking the top of a column to organize the names/numbers etc. like if you are looking for a work order, tap the top and put it in numerical order! Lol same with notices, etc.
This, but creating a keyboard shortcut. I created a keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S to go to the find resident screen. I use it countless times a day. Possibly more than any other keyboard combination in any piece of software.
Yes, so do we and it’s great. If you need a reminder, you can click in the box and in you calendar, you will see memo. You can then click in it and it will take you to the message.

AP analytics - Payee ledger. Pull based on a key word, account number or vendor. Can see everything entered, payment status, etc. I am constantly using this to look up work done in a specific unit.
Generate occupant. Often times we add roommates after the lease is executed. Generate occupant creates a related prospect record and application form to update.
I can't vouch for CRM. See my notes below. Also - try in dev first.
Add the roommate and save.
Click Data/Reports at the top of the newly added roommate screen.
Click Generate Occupants and you get the roommate screen pop up.
Generate Occupants is now Application Form to drill down to. Basically it forced an occupant to be added to the prospect table.
Now for the cons -
info does not flow back. Meaning phone numbers and emails entered on the app does not flow back into the roommate screen. You will have to enter manually. Pretty sure same with vehicle info.
I am running Voyager 70.08 CorePI v7.06 with Residential 7.16. If you are not running the same I suggest that you 1-enter/save the roommate. 2-navigate away from the new roommate screen and then go back in. Then Generate Occupant. If you didn't do this on an older version it glitched and caused a nameless roommate.
And finally, if the screen just flashes and you are back at the roommate screen when you click Generate Occupant then click F12 before clicking Generate Occupants and it will reopen the correct screen.
Under property set up you can upload contracts. I always find this something we chase down or cant locate current contracts and if you make it a habit to load there, it’s easy for anyone to retrieve.
I would love to be able to pull a report that shows Revenue, expenses, and NOI daily for entire portfolio without having to go through financials of every property separately.
