Property Managers Ability to Make Payments on Behalf of Tenants

Does anyone here give property managers the ability to make payments, change payment amounts or payment dates for tenants? I ask because we're looking for a new property management software and one potential vendor gives managers the ability to log into the payment app as a tenant and do all of the things listed above. Is this commonplace in the industry? I see this as a huge security risk.

Yes, I think it's fairly common. I'm familiar with two platforms that allow managers to make changes (when logged in as a manager). The software tracks the changes so that an administrator can see who made what changes if questions ever arise.
