I have been on a property with Amazon, and now Luxer. Spend a minimum of 1 hour a day dealing with packages. Where I live we have Fetch. Would never recommend anything else.
I’ve had both Luxer and Parcel waaaaaay prefer Luxer over Parcel 10000000%. Better service more reliable better quality easier to use interface. My experience with Parcel Pending made me never want another delivery box service. But I inherited a property with Luxer and they changed my mind
If Fetch is in your area, use fetch. They essentially customize deliveries with your residents.
No matter what locker system you go with, you will still be dealing with packages. There will never be enough. They will fill up and then you will have packages everywhere and will still have angry residents.
Your lockers could work flawlessly. It’s the lazy couriers and the over spending of your residents that cause the issues.
Go with fetch if possible.
Ooh, great topic! As someone that is not on property, but has residents at communities with all of these services I would say we’ve had the most trouble with Amazon Hub. Luxer One hasn’t seemed as popular so I don’t have a ton of experience with it, but what we have had has been positive. Parcel Pending has always been easy to work with as well. As far as I know, we haven’t dealt with Fetch at any community yet.
Luxer! I’m providing feedback from the resident side in this instance as I don’t personally have any management experience with it. I’ve only had one minor issue (I thought the door wasn’t opening because it was jammed but the door opened the opposite direction so totally my fault) but I was able to quickly reach someone via text and they helped me very quickly. The whole system is user friendly and I’ve never personally had issues with it that I didn’t cause. Highly recommend! We do have a property in Knoxville that just installed them so I’ll ask how their management side experience is.
Although I have looked a lot at Fetch and would really love to get a bunch of our properties using that to avoid the package nightmare all together!
None of the above. If they are in your area, go with Fetch Package Delivery!
It’s amazing! I use it for work related online buying and literally get it quicker than regular delivery options. Cuts out all the shuffling between the main hub and distribution centers, so less vehicles on the road and they schedule deliveries with the residents. Plus it becomes an amenity fee so extra income to the property! Wins all around. 680+ packages delivered last month and a 99% on time delivery achieved.
None. They’re all still a liability. Don’t accept packages. They might hate it- but you’re not a mailman and Amazon still won’t use the parcels properly
Here's the thing. For the most part the lockers themselves are all great. The problem lies with the delivery drivers that don't follow the rules. I won't name names but it rhymes with Kamazon. unlike FedEx and UPS, they have different drivers all the time. They have nothing invested in your team, the property or package management. Ex: if you have a package room they may have 30 packages, will scan in one package and dump them all on the floor. If you have lockers, I have seen countless times in which they will do the same by shoving as many packages as they can into one locker because it's quick and easy. Now you have all of these residents worried someone stole their package. Sorry for the long post but, until Amazon steps up, Fetch is my vote.

Fetch takes a different strategy to package management that takes packages off the community altogether. I work for Fetch and if you would like more information, I’m happy to help. My email is [email protected]

Fetch, takes the package issue off staff & puts its back on the resident to schedule delivery. No more lost or stolen packages. We charge $15/month. Unlimited deliveries!
LUXERONE 100% I now have Parcel Pending and it doesn’t hold a candle to Luxer One. If you want something that’s user friendly for residents, staff and couriers... there is no comparison!
Wow! This is a great discussion that brought up some really good points I hadn't thought about. THANKYOU for all the engagement. This is why #collaboration is so great! Our industry ROCKS!
After working with every locker option since they launched in ~2013, as our company manages daily mail and package delivery for nearly 100,000 apartment residents coast-to-coast (with every locker system peppered across those many communities), Luxer One stands alone.
