Replied by Anne Sadovsky on topic Hi we have a parking problem at a large community
Most of my clients are assigning parking spaces using a permit number. They use a towing company that drives the property to check for cars that are 'cheating.'
Issues are guest parking and unassigned handicapped parking.
The only way to assign a parking spot for a resident with a disability is NOT to use the handicapped sign, but a reserved spot with permit number and use the blue handicapped symbol.

Attend my webinar on April 7th here at MFI to learn more!!!

Use stickers that are not easily removable so they can be passed around. We label them with a label maker with the parking space # and plate # so we know if that sticker belongs to that vehicle.

Do not use your property name on the sticker, people get concerned about being tracked down where they live.

We issue new stickers every two years because people that used to live here will return to visit and park in the lot since they still have a sticker.

Create a vehicle registration form listing all vehicles belonging to the household and keep a record of the permit #, vehicle description, etc.
