Anyone have experience on customers feedback on a all in one washer/dryer? For luxury high rise, studio or one bedroom use only. Was it a deterrent to leasing?

Small, jeans OR towel x 2 max. Poor drying on towels. A property converted and about half of residents still used coin laundry on site.

Just about as good as a stack. Can't fit larger items such as comforters. Better to go with dual full size

They’re horrible. I’ve used Bosch and LG, both suck. Maintenance guys don’t like working on them, some appliance companies won’t work on them, and getting parts in a pain in the ass.

I’d say don’t do it. We installed them on a 56 unit property in Los Angeles to save space, however all of the residents go to the coin laundromat across the street. I couldn’t even wash a twin bedsheet set without it stuffing the unit.

The ones I have used were not good and residents did not like them.

Never again. Replacing them with a cabinet at a 105 unit property...that's how bad it is.

We have them in several units. They’re great - energy and space efficient - tenants only complaint is not being able to wash bulky items like comforters. We’ve never had a single issue with any of them which is also refreshing!

We have put them in remodels and been happy. High renewal rate vs. those that don't have them tells us it's working out. We also have a laundry room onsite with commercial washers for bulky loads. The key is setting expectations appropriately due to the long dry cycles

Not a renter but my mom put one in her house. I did laundry there once and never again. It takes too long. Plus, if you purchase from a company like Bosch, parts are hard to find and only certain vendors service them.

They're extremely expensive, hard to repair, constantly in need of repair, takes forever to get parts, most maintenance guys aren't familiar enough with them to work on then. All around not worth it. Great concept but not practical especially for leasing. You know how residents are. I'd stick with stacks.

I have never heard good things about them. Every time somebody says that the new ones are better (when looking to put them into a new community), I go and find a community that has recently started using them and the feed back is always bad. Capacity is never enough (so you have to do multiple loads to get one normal load) and they still take a long time to dry.
