Called the police who were disinterested, served a non-compliance notice, and will be charging her the replacement cost of the sod. Failure to pay will result in eviction.
well the conversation with the manager after she received her non-compliance notice went along the lines of “I don’t understand. I’m making it better.” Soooo... probably lol
I had an apartment about 10 years ago - heavy shade wouldn't allow anything to grow right at my patio. So I planted several hostas and it was beautiful all summer long. But I took them with me when I moved. (I told the PM they were going with me) The new tenant was so disappointed that they were gone. Then I felt bad about it - even though they were my hostas.

No, but I had a tenant who poisoned and tore out all our ivy because she thought snakes were hiding in it. Left us with an ugly-ass dead bare spot where nothing could grow.
Maybe he’s going to lay top soil and sod for y’all. He might think the grass isn’t kept up with. That looks like stakes for top soil and new sod!
I would be appreciative!

Something tells me that : it was a long tine resident . There wasn’t grass. There was only mud. They are probably going to plant new grass themselves. It will look better than before. Btw: those trees need maintenance so that the new grass can flourish. Currently too much shade - thus all the mud.

Ah. No excuse. She gotta go. If you let this slide she would think you a pushover . And the other residents living near would think so too. Ya gotta lay down the law … there is only one captain of the ship and it ain’t her!!
