Renters have the county courts for escrow as well as their county code enforcement agency to help with slumlords with issues with repairs. Renters also have the help of legal aid & over the last 2 years an abundance of organizations helping them with rent & utilities. A slumlord is t bothered by a rating system online. Last week I was given a 1 star rating and the reason was “because it’s too hard to get in” per the poster. She was upset because we didn’t have an apartment available for her to move at her specific time frame.
I'm not talking about the massive 100 unit complexes. I'm talking about the 2-3 unit properties that landlords acquire too quickly to adequately scale proper Property Management protocols....and I'm giving the benefit of the doubt with that statement because there are some investors that have no intent on "properly scaling" those preventive measures to care for the properties adequately
