Do you send Birthday cards to your residents? We feel it’s the little extras ours seem to appreciate.

It's nice. But you know what would be even more impactful? Just a note out of the blue (not really out of the blue - you could set a calendar to alert you every 7 months or so) would have a much greater impact. "Just a quick note to let you know how much we appreciate you...we know there are a lot of options out there, and we are glad you found us. If there is ever anything we can help with, let us know" I get a birthday card from my financial advisor every year, and one from my dentist. They go straight in the garbage - it seems contrived.

We tried to and loved it. Just couldn’t keep up. Do y’all do it daily or monthly?

We get notice about five days before their birthday through our system. Once that pops up, we address the card and mail it. So, some days we don't have any, other's, like Mondays, it may be more because we don't see them on the weekend.

Yes we do. And we actually pront them from canva a month early. Have them ready to go and then send them out daily. HOWEVER.... I only have 150 residents. Not sure if I could keep up with a large group

We do! We also include a two piece box of gourmet chocolates for each resident's birthday... we only have 99 homes, so it's not too crazy to manage.

No. We have a monthly birthday party with cake and ice cream and sometimes pizza. Those with birthdays get flowers and we sing happy birthday to them.
