PTO/Vacation question. Sorry it's a lot, but we're trying to see the industry standard.
  1. How many vacation days do you accrue per year? Are there tiers for length of service?
  2. How many personal days do you accrue per year? Are there tiers for length of service?
  3. How many sick days do you accrue per year? Are there tiers for length of service?
  4. How many holidays do you get per year?
  5. Does your company have any half days or early closings? If so, how many hours per year?

Common VACATION -
1 week first 6-12 months
2 weeks one year to 5th
3 weeks after 5th
4 weeks after 10th

Some blend in sick days as +5 days and generic PTO is new name.
Some accrue by month
Some allow negative balance take it before you accrue it.
Some allow carryover 5 days year to year.

3 floating holidays per year
6 sick days
Closed for all major holidays plus black Friday and Christmas eve
Close early the day before every major holiday. Close 3 hours early for halloween

No sick or personal days; all included in PTO.
12 holidays, birthday paid day off.
1/2 day on Good Friday.

30 days off per year which I negotiated for at the start of my 3rd year. 10 vacation days was the standard plus 5 sick days. It’s use it or lose it…and I can’t take more than a week off at one time

1st year 10 days (accrued at .833 days per month)
2nd year- 10 vacation days (accrued at .833 per month) and 5 personal days ( accrued at .42 per month) for a total of 15 days
10th year- 15 days vacation (accrued at 1.25 per month) and 5 personal days (accrued at 1.25)

Holidays are the recognized holidays + 2 floating (bday and a give back day)
Sick days 5 days per year (accrued at .42 per month)
We do have half days of early closings depending when a holiday may fall but that’s all I’ve experienced so far

Year 1-3 : 5 vacation days, starts accruing day 1 but can’t be taken until one year anniversary and 4 PTO days per year, can be taken as one per quarter after first 90 days.
Years 4-5 : 10 vacation days and 8 PTO days, 2 per quarter.
Years 5+ : 15 vacation days and 12 PTO days, 3 per quarter.
All standard holidays, around 6 off early days. Vacation is considered earned but can’t be carried over. If you don’t use it, it is paid out. PTO is use it or lose it

Almost too many to use :D I'm 6 years in:
-3 weeks vacation (up from 2 weeks at the 5 year mark)
-40 hours sick (that you never lose. They just accrue forever.)
-3 floating holidays to use however/whenever you want. This is in addition to commonly recognized holidays.
-4 personal days (1 per quarter)
-Birthday

3 weeks then 4 weeks after 20 yrs then 3 holidays, plus our sick days then our 'exempt sick days'.
Actually we get 3 weeks..but after 15 yrs we get one additional day per year up to 20 years and it caps at 4 weeks.

3 weeks vacation, more after 5 years. 4 Personal days. 3 Onsite Floating holidays. A birthday day. Accrue sick time about 4 hours a paycheck. 11 paid holidays, I think.

Plenty of time off to take! We deserve it, we all work way too hard. I play just as hard though.

Federal holidays, unlimited Sick and PTO. I just started with my new company 6 months ago and getting married tomorrow. I requested two weeks off and my boss didn’t even blink. You have no idea the breath of fresh air my new company is! They also encourage employees to take at least a week off each quarter, I’m too much of a workaholic for that hahaha.
