Anyone else experienced “slandering“ when you intentionally left a job because you’re tired of “fixing properties”?

Anyone else experienced “slandering“ when you intentionally left a job because you’re tired of “fixing properties”, corporate has unrealistic expectations and never responds to your needs… But when you leave, it’s all “your fault“?

I used to before I found my current company. Going on 8 years and I hope to never leave!

When I got started in the industry (15 years ago) they sent me out marketing for 6 hours a day with BS flyers and all that they wanted me to drop off at every nail salon, car wash etc, then fired me bc I wasn't leasing. I was young and dumb so I didn't say or do anything but I thought it was very unfair. They made me go out, did not pay for fuel or mileage and then were pissed bc I didn't lease (I was only in office for maybe two hours a day!) So when they fired me it was actually a blessing bc I did not need to work for a company like that!

Been there and it sucks!!

Ya just picked the wrong company to work for....23 years and loving it!

Unfortunately, it happens. They don't want to take responsibility for their problems so they place blame.
