That landlords cannot prevent bad weather or power outages or other mishaps.

Maintenance personnel do not sit around the office waiting for things to get broken.

The market, rent inflation. That there are 8 of us staff handling over 1500 of them. I wish they would understand that when we read the lease with them they paid attention. I wish they picked up after themselves, I wish they understood you will hear your neighbor as this shared living. I wish they would learn to call police when needed not call me. I wish they paid their rent on time. I wish they understood why renters insurance exists and again going back to the lease we don’t cover the cost of private property. I wish they understood their cussing and screaming gets them NO WHERE. I wish they understood the difference between customer service and babysitting adults. I wish they understood a lot of things…

That we’re human, we make mistakes, we have our own personal battles, we try our hardest but sometimes our hardest will not be good enough, be gentle, and know that the policies and laws are not ones we created neither is it personal that we are enforcing them. PS: we agree rent is high, we need more staff, package delivery companies suck, and the dog poop is disgusting. Some of us are also renters living in communities with the same complaints. ❤️

That calling Corporate and yelling only gets you referred back to the property manager. Corporate made the rules and wants them enforced.
That refusing us entry to your unit for legit reasons (pest control) will get you non-renewed or evicted

That when you sign a lease/lease renewal, you are obligated to fulfill the lease term. Just because you "found a house you just couldn't pass up", doesn't mean I have to let you out of your lease, or lessen the lease break fee because you are "house poor", or feel you are entitled to special treatment because you have been a "good tenant."
