    I don’t think breed restrictions make too much sense, but unless insurance companies eliminate the restrictions, we can’t eliminate it.

    Check with your provider - many large companies have eliminated breed restrictions from their policies - and some states, like CO, have passed legislation prohibiting insurers from having restrictions.

    Already eliminated weight restrictions. No chance on breeds.

    We didn’t have them previously. When we changed insurance, they required we restrict by breed. I don’t support the idea. Dogs aren’t the problem.

    You should check with your insurance company. The companies will not cover incidents that involve restricted breeds, which are the common ones that you see listed. We just can't seem to get around it, otherwise we have no weight limit.
