We recently ordered polo shirts and hats with our company logo on them for all of the on-site staff. The maintenance team must wear this uniform everyday and on-site Managers wear them every Friday (our way of letting them have casual Fridays I guess). We set up an online store (for free) through

, where we can go to order the same shirts every time someone new is hired or we need to replace them.
The staff seem to really like having the uniforms (weird huh?!) because it makes them feel like more of a team. It's nice for residents to also be able to recognize our maintenance staff.
Crystal, you mention a good point. Our maintenance associates should be in uniform to identify that they are part of the staff. Plus, our residents can identify those members of the team that should be entering their apartments by their attire.
