I would like to suggest that we lobby whomever needs to be lobbied in Washington to establish an official Salesperson Appreciation Day! For one day each year, our clients would have to bow to our needs, jump when we say "jump" and follow us around for one day telling us just how creative we really are in this industry. However, don't hold your breath while we are trying to get this done!
Short of a special day I think it is important for all salespeople to stand back and give themselves a standing ovation once and awhile. Creativity in sales is the least appreciated, least understood of all of our skills.
