My company recently opened a new property and we would like to send a resident satisfaction survey to all current residents. We have a general survey that asks about appearance of the property, leasing experience and response of the maintenance team. However, we are looking for additional inspiration for questions.

What type of questions would you want on a survey?

Do you prefer multiple choice (i.e. poor to excellent) or open ended questions?

Any and all input would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I have seen Surveys that ask Residents if they are happy with the Office Team's telephone and personal interaction with them, what kind of activities they would be interested in participating in (such as adding more bar events versus a potluck event or a cookout) but that one might be better for a separate survey. Sometimes shorter is better. I think a great question to ask Residents is why they like living at the community. Poeple like multiple choice questions, too, with the ability to add their own answers, too.
