Water purification systems to increase apartment value?

Hello everyone!

I am a small business owner and rep for a point-of-use water purifier that has been a leader in that industry for almost 40 years for in home use. It was just redesigned to help combat the current "water crises" that has surfaced in recent years with PFOS and PFOA chemicals showing up more and more in drinking water.

It doesn't seem common that apartment complexes have water purification systems in units, and leave it up to the renter to purchase one or not. However, from the outside looking in, I could see how providing in unit water purification systems could be a great way to be even more marketable for potential residents, generate more revenue annually, and increase value of the overall complex. A couple of questions on this:
  1. If I started selling to apartment complexes/communities, is this something they would take into serious consideration, or is there a blocker here I am not seeing where none of them would be able to consider it?
  2. If the answer is yes they would, who would most likely be the decision maker for something like that?
Thank you for any insight!
