3 Email Marketing Hacks You Should Be Leveraging At Your Community

If you are looking to improve your email marketing, here are 3 hacks you should implement immediately.

#1 - Have a super-signature at the bottom of your email

If you’re sending a bunch of prospect-related emails out to a list, consider adding a section below your signature that gives them more options. For example:

Don’t have time for a tour? Check out this quick video.

See what life’s like at our community: Instagram | Facebook | Youtube

This will get people to engage with your brand even more.

#2 - Resend your email to those that didn’t open it

Most email senders allow you to resend your email to people that didn’t open it the first time.

For example, I send out a newsletter every Wednesday morning. Hubspot, our CRM, allows me to see who did and did not open the email. This gives me the opportunity to resend my email to those people at a later date.

When you do this hack, just make sure you slightly revise your original email, such as changing the subject line. Do something that will make them want to open it this time.

 #3 - Write nine-word emails

The nine-word email will help re-engage prospects that went cold. It’s simply an email where the body is only nine words and ends with a question mark.

For example: Are you still looking for a one bedroom apartment?

The prospect can simply reply, “Yes” or “No.” If “Yes,” then you immediately have a prospect engaging with you again.

The second part of the nine-word email is to make sure your subject line is short and catches someone's attention. For example:

Hey…

Really Quick

2 Seconds

To Sum it Up

These three email marketing hacks will help you stay connected with prospects. If someone is considering your community, but hasn't made a decision yet, these emails serve as a gentle nudge or reminder about your community and gets them engaged again.
