3 Thanksgiving Videos to Share with Your Renters

when-is-thanksgiving-2019-1569929153

Last November, I told my team to grab their coats and head outside. I asked them to grab some leaves, throw them into the air, and flash their best smiles for the camera.

I thought to myself: How can I make this video even better?

Then, I instructed one of them to stand in the middle, cross his forearms, and give his best mean mug look to the camera.

This video idea popped into my head while brainstorming ways to make an email stand out from all the inbox clutter.

The final product? Pretty great if you ask me...

Videos. Giphys. Events. Gifts.

There are numerous ways to engage renters and stand out this Thanksgiving. If you haven't tried using videos (or giphys) to grab renters' attention, try it. I'll share a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

Say Thank You

The words thank you go a long way, especially when it's said through video. Sure, words will do. Those words tell your renters you care. Although video shows your renters you care more.

Renters can feel, hear, and see your genuine thank you. Send a thank you video to renters via email — it took my team five minutes to create that quick video.

Share a Dish

There's a reason people go to TikTok or Instagram reels for recipe inspo. Your renters also do it, so there's your chance to engage them.

Share what dish you're cooking for your Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving meal. Maybe record yourself baking it. Now I'm not suggesting you turn into Martha Stewart, but a video or two on your property's socials won't hurt.

Highlight Thanksgiving 5Ks

I might be biased because I'm a runner, but I'm also a renter. If my community informed me about the various Thanksgiving 5K races happening in the neighborhood, I'd be interested.

Consider using a short video to inform your renters about the local activities in the area.

Give Video a Try Now

Let's give another round of applause for my wonderful anchors from above. They willingly participated in my spur-of-the-moment idea to create a quick video.

Likewise, your videos don't need extensive planning. If you get a spontaneous idea, go for it. You can also throw some leaves in the air. Maybe roll around in them. Whatever you're into — I won't stop you.
