Am I the last to know?
This is not a commercial, but it is an unpaid endorsement. (And as a reporter I shy from making endorsements).
I have to ask: Maintenance techs and independent rental owners: Ever use Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner Clinging Bleach Gel? You should.
Me being picky about disgusting shower stalls, I used to spend hours over the course of two days every couple of years, ripping out old moldy caulk in the cracks of a tiled shower, and then recaulking. Hard work. And yeah, getting the caulk to look as linear as the pros is darn-near impossible.
But my wife finally told me to Google how to remove mold and I found this video by a woman named Kathryn, as part of her “Do it on a Dime” YouTube series.
Watching it, it seems like it’s an ad, but it’s not. The 3-minute video demonstrates how to use the Clorox product and it literally makes the shower look like new. I had 10-year-old mold build-up in some areas. The mold seemed engrained into the original caulk, like hers. However, the before-and-after shots Kathryn provides are NOT FAKE NEWS because it performed for me just as well.
Using every freaking product and gritty bleach powder like Comet I could find over the years – it never came out. Until today. So easy.
This product only cost about $3, and it could do wonders for your “turns” on your units with the nastiest showers.
Unless, of course, you already knew this …
