Shhhhhhhhhh! Sound Abatement

Shhhhhhhhhh! Sound Abatement

Shhhhhhhhhh! Sound Abatement

Hush! Be quiet! Zip it! Shut it! Put a lid on it! Is that a herd of elephants? (This could be said in my own home or any of your residents’ homes on any given day)

My beloved noisemakers!

⚡️WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! ⚡️The sound of a broomstick as it hits the ceiling. No surprise that noise is the 3rd most frequent complaint in multifamily buildings. 20% of residents say they would move if they have noisy neighbors. That can add up to a lot of revenue lost to turnovers. No bueno!

(Sidenote: that’s a major reason why we moved out of our last place, noisy neighbors. I may or may not have yelled “QUIET!!!” around midnight at 9 months preggo ???? to my over-served-outdoor-karaoke-singing neighbors. I digress....)

So have you ever been told that your beautifully designed space or project is just too loud?

The struggle is real!

I encourage you to partner with a flooring company that has an industry leading acoustical program with beautifully designed products.  Flooring has such a huge positive or negative impact on sound. Make sure you are choosing wisely.  There is no need to compromise style for noise ever again. There are many flooring sound solutions out there. There’s a plethora of products and acoustical underlayments to help you achieve quietude! Soft plank flooring, wall to wall solutions, attached pad on resilient planks, and so much more.

Acoustics can make or break the effectiveness of your building. Look for flooring partners who can work with you to provide customized sound solutions through: independent lab testing, product innovation, and consulting services. Let’s increase your flooring IIC!

Quiet as a mouse,
Tracy

PS Loving this palette Whisper. Could that BE more appropriate for multi-family? (In my best Chandler Bing voice!)
