Work Besties

Insiders, do you have a work bestie? I sure hope so!

I have had the privilege for many years to work alongside great ones.

These ladies and I started off our design journeys almost 2 decades ago as single ladies. ???? “All the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies. Now put your hands up…” Some of us stayed single and some got hitched.  Some of us started families.

Yet we remained in the trenches with each other. We’ve seen each other through sickness and health, good times and bad, triumphs and tribulations.

The great thing about having work besties is that you get to collaborate, celebrate wins together, and bounce ideas off of each other. Most of the time we agree on color, style and design. But not always…sometimes we disagree. It’s intriguing to see how the west gets trends first. While over on the east we tend to hold on longer to those trends. Bottom line, it’s important to have your tribe or circle of trust. We share feedback. We share our voices.
