Need Input - What Blog Categories Should We Include?

Interesting idea... can you elaborate a little more about this? Like an example of what the buckets look like, and what tags you can think of, so we can compare how you should apply best practices to this

Hi Everybody,
We could really use some input, so I would really appreciate your thoughts! With our new blogging platform, we can use different categories. As opposed to tags, which can indicate specific topics within the post, the categories are overall "buckets" to put the blogs in. This is a pretty critical decision because it will frame the site for years to come, so we want to get it right! We could mimic the discussions area, with some concepts, such as:
- Multifamily Investment
- Apartment Maintenance
- Apartment Leasing
- Etc
What do you all think? If we have 7 to 10 categories, which ones should we include in your opinion?
