everywhere else. Rent path network (questionable), and any other online source, except Craigslist. I’m still a firm believer in word of mouth and curb appeal!
I've never heard of it but i'm curious. I get better caliber responses from craigslist than facebook marketplace lately...(aside from the dozen of other websites we post on via our software).
We have used Rooof for almost 5 years and love it! I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out of Craigslist but regardless of what we think of it, prospects still use it! About 10% of our total leases come directly through Craigslist posts using the Rooof posting tool. I'm sure Allen Cook can help you with more info
Please refer to your credit score by ad source reports from your screening companies for any decisions. I’ve seen companies require so much time spent on Craigslist when it yields the most unqualified applicants (depending on market, quality of posting etc). Nothing is a one size fits all. The time and money investments need to be on the sources that yield the most qualified residents. Dig into those tenant screening reports. Try it and watch carefully.
I have noticed that the effectiveness of Craigslist seems to be very dependent on the market. We find that some of our smaller/more tertiary markets still find success through Craigslist advertising.
