Are there other LMS services out there besides Grace Hill and LeaseHawk?

I love Grace Hill, but their monthly minimum pricing is out budget for our small portfolio. We tried LeaseHawk, mainly due to price, but have had ongoing service issues. I need to make sure my folks participate in ongoing training, but it's beginning to look like my only option is off-site training through our local apartment association.

Hi Amanda,
Have you checked out our Webinar Wednesday series? It is a joint production with the National Apartment Association Education Institute, MFI, and the Apartment All Stars, and also supports your local association. With the program, you can also get Continuing Education Credits. We deal a lot with trending topics, so it's dovetails nicely with other training providers, like Jonathan's Training Factor program. The subscription is only $39.99 for an entire property, so pretty inexpensive, too!

I have, actually.. our problem is that our portfolio consists of smaller properties, one-person offices. Setting aside time for live or live webcast training is next to impossible. (You know how it goes: that last appointment runs way longer than you expected and you miss the class, etc.) An online environment is pretty much the way we need to go.

I do pay attention to the Webinar Wednesday offerings, though. In fact, there have been a couple where I have asked if course materials were available for purchase after the fact. If that would be a possibility, I would be interested in that as well.

Hi Amanda,
All courses are available through the archives if you want to watch a past one, and even for a current one, all you need to do is let us know that you either 1) Can't make the live showing, or 2) Missed the live showing, and we can send you the recording! So even though the events are technically at a certain, there is actually a lot of flexibility in watching them.

Hi Amanda,
I know we have not met so you have no vested interest in my opinion; however, I can tell you my personal experience with Grace Hill, The Training Factor and the webinars has been nothing but positive. Yes, Grace Hill can be too expensive per class for small portfolios, so I also use The Training Factor. I was most impressed that The Training Factor actually offered a scholarship at one time - their dedication for providing educational opportunities to those whose companies were not or could not provide any spoke volumes toward the concept of "putting money where your mouth is." I started taking the Wednesday Webinars because the topics are so timely, their cost is affordable (I pay for my own classes) and it is fun to participate in the live classes. I can tell you I took Brent's class on Facebook Pages, etc. and learned so much I was able to create a page for my property (at the time) and it took off so quickly with his helpful suggestions!!!! I know you can put to immediate use whatever you learn in those webinars. At one time, MFI asked how to improve them and I know several asked about getting credit for the classes and now this has happened. This is a GREAT BENEFIT.

I will also tell you there are a lot of other free trainings online, too, but I fully and wholeheartedly recommend both The Training Factor and Multifamily Insiders' Wednesday Webinars.
