I know that revenue management was posted as a topic for discussion but I wonder;

1. Is it an art that should be left to RM's and PM's?

2. Is it a science that demands fancy algorithms?

Both, it takes the resources at the site level to funnel information back to the Regional & Revenue Manager.
But, it isn’t realistic to think that any human being could replicate the performance of a software that utilizes fancy algorithms in real-time.
Unless, that computer is a T800 from Terminator: Salvation and you are John Connor and you get to use time travel.
