Drew Dudley discusses how leadership doesn't have to mean grand sweeping forces that can be hard to achieve or even imagine. Instead, every single person can be a leader through small, but important actions in their everyday lives. Wonderful video.
I believe what he was hitting upon was is the behavioral style theory. I am by no means an expert on leadership, but in the academy we spent three weeks 8 hours a day just on this subject and that does not count the research and case studies that we had to do on our own. We studied both leadership from grade school and organized sports to organizations both on the military and civilian sides. I can tell you there were some very passionate discusions and debates that went on.
Thought I knew everything there was to know about leadership and when they told us we would have a leadership phase which would last three weeks I thought oh no, how boring, boy was I wrong!
He was giving from his perspective, but what he was bringing up to me would fall again in the behavioral style! Sorry I am just a sucker when it comes to discussing anything with leadership!
