We have an extremely busy 206 unit complex, we had 65 leads last week, with 30 foot traffic. We have a manager and a leasing agent. It is difficult to keep up, everyone says the industry standard is 1 person for every 100 units, but this could be from 10 years ago, when is the last time anyone did an up to date survey? Shouldn't this depend on location and take into consideration technology and customer service needed for this day and age?

Hi Amy,
I'm not sure if this will help, but here is some data on leasing consultants per property from December: www.multifamilyinsiders.com/apartment-fo...affing-survey-report .

Anecdotally, I worked on a property just about the same size, and we had a PM, APM, and a part time Leasing Consultant. That was probably about 10 years ago though :)

Both work 5 days, we are open 6 days. We had 30 traffic and 65 email leads last week, busy office for 206 units and we are located on a busy street, right off the highway.
