How would you charge for this? Do you think this would come clean enough to not have to replace it?

Doubt the top can be saved and that’s as much as a new stove.

Replace it all. Tips generally cost almost as much as the whole stove.

Glass cook top cleaner/completely coat the inside with oven cleaner after running a self clean. That should come out easy. Sending a letter to the previous renter calling them a filthy pig (using industry terms, obviously) is going to be a joy

Ask the cleaning company that you use. Looks like it needs replacing.

You can get this at Walmart for a couple bucks. I use that and a dry sponge. Then i use a razor blade for the stuff that’s really stuck.

They make some great products that should be able to clean it. It includes a razor that scraps the dried burned on stuff. The right side looks really bad so idk.

Try cleaning- don’t send final bill yet. If you can’t get clean, then charge for stove top replacement. I think charging for the entire appliance is extreme.

It should depending on the type of stovetop cleaner you use. That and a razor blade should do the trick. Just looks burnt not damaged beyond repair
