Check out the link below. Map of the US that highlights growing unemployment in the US from 2007.

Really brings into focus the main reason why vacancies are rising.

What a map, Leigh! Looks like we should move to Slope County, North Dakota, huh? Those 675 residents seem to be doing great...

Wow. That somewhat hurts your stomach seeing the action in front of your eyes.

Everyone understands how bad unemployment it is but seeing the changes in the country and in your own region really puts the situation into perspective as to why everyones occupancy is down.

Seeing unemployment roll across the county like that is very scary. Plus, yesterday I read that 25% of Gen Y'ers are moving in with parents or friends instead of getting their own apartments. No wonder occupancy and traffic is down!

That is scary!
Yuma, Az has over 21% unemployment. Average rent is $750!
Folks have to have roommates or move in with their parents or other family to be able to afford LIFE! That's not all bad. . .maybe it will help us to realize that life is not about things and stuff!
In the meantime--let's make sure that our communities are family friendly and the right price for the area!!

Lots and Lots of people are affected, BUT, it happens to be where we started our business, and we shall blast back with a better product, better service and more fun and an Enhanced Resident Experience,

Onward, We have apartments to rent!
