Who do y’all use for force placed insurance on site? I’m sure there’s more than one company. Who’s the best? Who’s awful? And, why??

We use Rent Shield-have had a couple glitches at start up, but once everything was smoothed out, it works well with our software now.

Lisa Andrade agree. RUN! It’s not a real insurance program and they cover literally nothing. I have so many residents put in very bad situations due to this. They also have horrible service. We had a fire last week and it took us 5 attempts at contact and getting nothing short of the President involved to even get an acknowledgment . Finally a WEEK after the fire we get a response, meanwhile my residents have been displaced this entire time with no info. This happens, over and over.

Lisa Andrade we just got rid of it and I couldn't be happier. To many overcharges and resident complaints.

We use ePremium. They write policies, but also help manage 3rd Party Declarations

My last company used assistant and I loved that they came with their own portal when I needed info on policies. Current company has erenters and I don’t like them. They upload dox for you which is great unless they don’t and you need customer service or a declaration which is seemingly not easy to get.

Kimberlin Torain I have had a very different experience with ERenters and love them. They integrate with my software and heaven forbid something does happen I have received money from them with very little red tape professionally and personally.

Samatha Figarella they integrate into our software as well- I find that the biggest issue is when they don’t put it in in time for move in or if the resident already has a policy with them that they are transferring

We use RLL - renters legal liability. They’re pretty decent, as far as forced liability goes. I ALWAYS encourage them to get their own renters.
