I supported onesite for a large company. Agree with others - our on-site associates found it intuitive and user friendly. Just remember to give yourself grace during the learning process.
I am very outnumbered with my opinion, lol! Hate it! I personally find it not use friendly, very time consuming for the simplest of things and the report portion sucks.
Rachel Donelson- Dugan I have used Boston post forever! And of course I find it much easier. However, it is not necessarily tax credit friendly which is why my company is switching to One Site. MRI is working on a new Tax Credit package but it will be a few years before they're ready to roll it out and we couldn't wait. Especially with a lot of the newer tax credit properties using income averaging and not set percentages. OneSite does have a component called Business Intelligence which we are just getting started on. That is supposed to be making life much easier when you want to look at your total portfolio to see what your vacancy is or your delinquency portfolio wise, so I'm looking forward to that. I guess i'm just an old dog that doesn't really enjoy learning new tricks!
Rachel Donelson- Dugan appfolio. I came to my current place and LOATHED onesite. Its like it was designed specifically to be difficult to use. You have no idea what you're missing. Thank god they listened to me and switched to AF. Plus its 1/3 the price. Go with AppFolio
Donna Mueller Blackman this is my experience as well. Too much box checking and oneshite requires you pull multiple reports that a single Yardi report will show you. It feels like 90s software that never got updated.
agree, Resman is the best!! One site just has some extra steps and several different ways to do things but there is a quick step guide online that was super helpful for me
Rachel Donelson- Dugan if I had my way about it I would want Entrata. Loved it. Very user friendly. Great way to communicate with Residents. Reports are awesome.
So easy! Use the question mark on the top right of the screen if you ever get stuck. It will bring up help topics based on the screen you're on and you can navigate to other help docs from there.
It’s really dated, unintuitive and requires multiple clicks to do something that could be done in a snap in Yardi. There’s no handy dashboard and sometimes you have to pull multiple reports that Yardi can give you in one. You’ll use the Boxscore most of all. Want to move someone in or manually enter a prospect? It’ll take three times as long as it should. You’re going to end up with a dozen screens open at the end of the day too. I’ll pass on the next employer who uses oneshite
