Does your company make you compete against your sister properties?

Are you competitive ?? Does your company make you compete against your sister properties?
With collection goals, occupancy etc. etc.
 

I hope my sister properties do as good or better than I do. I compete, but I compete against myself and my past performance. Their reputation is my reputation. If they excel, I excel.

No company should pit sites against one another. Pit nor compare. Each site has their own differences even if they are right next door to one another.

No, not at all! That is a ridiculous ploy if it happens. We are ALL one group, on different teams. If one fails we all fail, if one succeeds, we all celebrate

We compete within our property/team - we refer people to sister communities and help out when and if they need it but we don’t compete against them. We compete against last week and months numbers - always striving to beat previous week/month.

Our company doesn’t push us to compete with sister properties they urge us to help them, and since most of us in the same area are under the same RM we work together, and even if we don’t have the same RM we still ask do you have certain unit sizes available. Our west portfolio carry’s our company so it is imperative that we help each other!! Our comps are those around us not including sister properties because we work as a team! We want to see each community make it!!
