Property Manager vs Community Director title
Does anyone feel that this is really a huge difference or is it just a title preference company to company? If there is or you feel there is a difference, what is the reasoning behind that?
I would be worried about people who get hung up on titles (within reason). One thing I would say, the title does need to have some strength behind it for the onsite teams so the residents feel they have spoken to someone in a decision making position. IMO, this is why there are so many different ones (manager vs director, etc).

Property manager says to me in charge of everything. Community director is front facing dealing with “community activities” and doesn’t involve the physical plant. Don’t know that I am right just how I would interpret it
To me, property manager instantly conveys the role and capabilities of what people are expecting whereas community director just could cause confusion and uncertainty and also just sounds like trying to blow smoke.
