To be kind, encouraging and actually present for your employees. The ability to take feedback without taking it personally and getting upset. The ability to set ego aside and do what’s best for the business/team. I also truly believe that every leader, ESPECIALLY new leaders need a strong mentor. Everyone has blind spots and everyone needs support.
The ability to see a diamond in the ruff and bring people to their highest .
Be able to see the picture from above to be able to make correct decisions. Lead by example and understand that if you think you know it all you don’t .
the ability to take responsibility for your actions and admit when you're wrong. the ability to listen and look for solutions rather than where to place the blame.
Be able to say I made a mistake. Be able to say I don’t know but will find out for you, lead your team with integrity and respect, and lots of “Thank you for all you do!”
