Depends on the type of community. I managed 500 units 1, 2, 3, 4 BR TH, and 1 and 2 BR apts, had 3 office, 5 maintenance and then 3 on grounds

Age of property, type of buildings. Size of whole campus, Amenities, turnover rate are all factors to be worked into the equation. Not as simple as # of apts.
