I want to get my CAM license how do you go about doing this? I need something to add to my resume looking to go from APM to PM. What is the difference between CAM and LCAM?

I got mine through my Apartment Association. They gave away a scholarship and was chosen. Going on my 3rd year.

Local Apartment Association. CAM is for multi-family and LCAM is HOA.

LCAM is a State licensed CAM and deals with HOA/COA. CAM is for multifamily.

I did my classes through Visto, and I then went to a college to do the test. This was a few years ago, but your local Apartment Association should be able to guide you with what options are available.

I HIGHLY recommend trying to get your hands on study materials well ahead of class. The 5 day course itself is nowhere near enough to prepare you for the exam imo.
