Is anyone having issues with Google Business verifying new listings?

Is anyone having issues with Google Business verifying new listings? Google Business no longer sends the postcard to send a code. Our marketing team is stating that we have to buy email domains now for each of our properties, which I don’t think we should have to do. We have also sent Google Business Video of our sites (many in construction) and they keep denying the listing itself. Any ideas how everyone is getting around this issue is appreciated! We have been stuck for over two months with about ten properties that are not verified on Google. Help!

Yes, honestly it's worth it to setup a business gmail for this purpose only if you can't go direct to the domain even if that is all you will use it for.

We've been having issues verifying too and can't seem to make Google happy with our new developments that haven't opened yet. We thought it may be because there's no signage to verify yet, but Google won't give specifics.

If you get someone with a very VERY strong Google presence (Google Partner) it’s a breeze.

I had a 3 month battle with them as well and drove 2 hrs to the site to do a video call with a representative multiple times.

Google did just start charging for domains. We got a notification advising in advance.

We have struggled with several of our new listings! Two of them were "approved" and then disappeared a month or so later. We had to do so much to get reinstated, such as put FAQs on our website, we had to add profiles of who works there. I don't know if this will help you but worth a try! #googlehasamindofitsown
